Avril Lavigne attacked on Sunday morning

Usually Saturday nights are spent having fun, seeing movies or going to clubs. For Avril Lavigne and Brody Jenner, this Saturday night was also worth remembering, but for the wrong reasons. The 27 year old pop singer was apparently attacked while outside the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel in the early hours of Sunday morning. Jenner, her boyfriend, was also injured when he tried to interfere and break up the fight that had started. Both turned to Twitter in order to recall the event.

“I got attacked by 5 people last night out of nowhere. Not cool. My face is f––ed,” Lavigne wrote. “As in black eye, bloody nose, hair ripped out, scratches, bruises and cuts. So not ok to be abusive to others. Violence is NEVER the answer.”

Her 28 year old boyfriend who is  a former star of MTV’s The Hills, had a deep gash on his head in the videos that presented the aftermath of the event. “Interesting Saturday night,” he tweeted. “Just got of the hospital with a new scar on my face. Charges/chargers!!!”

At the moment it is unknown who the assailants are and whether the police has any leads so far. A LAPD spokesman declared he had no confirmation of the alleged fight.

The beginning of the night had been promising for the couple. Jenner posted a picture of them together followed by a tweet that said: “Having the best night with the love of my life @AvrilLavigne so happy right now!!”

Unfortunately their party turned sour.
